If you have thought of trying to make Jewellery but were to nervous or daunted by all the different methods, tools, beads, components you needed, then this workshop is for you, with our experienced beading teacher Rebecca by your side showing you simple techniques you will be amazed at what you can create!
Once you have completed these two classes you will have the skills to create so many different pieces of Jewellery and the confidence to try new and exciting projects.
The workshop will be split into two 2 hour classes with a lunch break; we will provide a selection of sandwiches and snacks, soft drinks, tea and coffee.
Session 1
The first half you will learn the basics, understanding the tools and Jewellery components, such as crimps, end fastenings and beading wire, you will make a pair of earrings and a floating style necklace.
Session 2
A slightly more advanced technique than that covered previously and one which will leave you with many, many jewellery making possibilities at your fingertips. We will also cover working with jump rings – another essential jewellery making technique. With our experienced beading teacher Rebecca by your side showing you simple techniques you will be amazed at what you can create!
