Pearl knotting is one of the oldest jewellery making skills. Traditionally, pearls are knotted on silk cord. The knots protect the delicate nacre (the delicate sheen coating on the pearls) as it stops the pearls from touching each other.

This is a classic technique and you will leave the class with a beautiful freshwater pearl and silk necklace for a fraction of the cost you would pay to buy one new. You will be given all the materials needed and no experience is necessary.
